A: Last year, Old National Bancorp entered into an agreement and plan of merger with First Midwest Bancorp, Inc.  With the closing of the merger on February 16, 2022, First Midwest Bank is a division of Old National Bank. The two companies will operate as Old National Bank likely by summer of 2022.

This won’t change our approach to serving our clients! We are still the same client- and community-focused bank you’ve come to expect. Through this partnership, we’ve now expanded our footprint and ATM network, and in coming together, it has provided us with additional scale and resources to serve all of our clients even better.

  • First Midwest’s culture and values align with Old National's. We are both focused on getting to know our clients and helping them reach their goals and strengthening and supporting our communities.
  • It will help us serve all our clients better. This partnership provides us with additional resources that will allow us to serve all clients better. For instance, we expect it to accelerate some of our plans to enhance our technology for the benefit of our clients and team members.
