Old National Bank Announces 2024 LEAD Rotational Program Graduates

Old National Bank’s LEAD Rotational Program participants Andrew Schoettlin, Jada Monroe, and Lauren Lechner in June 2024 graduated the Commercial and Credit Career Track and have accepted placement opportunities.

What is the LEAD Rotational Program?

The LEAD Rotational Program at Old National is a 24-month development opportunity that prepares recent college graduates to become future organizational leaders. The rotational program introduces participants to multiple departments within a line of business through the opportunity to work in four different roles.

During the program, participants connect with mentors and receive developmental support and ongoing learning. After completing the program, graduates receive placement opportunities based on Old National’s business needs and graduate career interests.

Specifically, the Commercial and Credit Career Track provides robust credit training and curriculum through multiple roles, and targets recent finance, accounting or related graduates.

2024 Placements

The 2024 LEAD Rotational Program graduates accepted placement opportunities in their desire lines of business:  

Andrew Schoettlin 
Placement: Commercial - Business Banking 

Jada Monroe 
Placement: Credit – Commercial Real Estate Tax Credit 

Lauren Lechner 
Placement: Credit - Healthcare Specialty Banking 

This year’s group of graduates previously worked as interns at Old National. “I really got along and loved all the people I worked with, I knew it would be a really good fit,” Lechner said of her decision to reapply at Old National.  

 

The culture they experienced as interns foreshadowed their experience in the LEAD Rotational Program.  
 
“The managers main focus is teaching you as much as they can to make the six months with their group incredibly beneficial,” Schoettlin explained. “It is a big investment in us, they take a lot of time away to give us resources and training to prepare us for potential placement. 
 

“I feel fortunate I had this great experience, and I cannot say enough good things about the program.”
