  2. What types of payments can I make with Zelle®?

    Zelle® is a great way to send money to family, friends and people you are familiar with such as your personal trainer, babysitter or neighbor.1

    Since money is sent directly from your bank account to another person's bank account within minutes,2 Zelle® should only be used to send money to friends, family and others you trust.

    Neither Old National nor Zelle® offers a protection program for any authorized payments made with Zelle® — for example, if you do not receive the item you paid for or the item is not as described or as you expected.

    1 Must have a bank account in the U.S. to use Zelle®.
    2 Transactions typically occur in minutes when the recipient’s email address or U.S. mobile number is already enrolled with Zelle®.

  3. Someone sent me money with Zelle, how do I receive it?

    If you have already enrolled with Zelle®, you do not need to take any further action. The money will be sent directly into your bank account and will be available typically within minutes.1

    If you have not yet enrolled with Zelle®, follow these steps:

    1. Click on the link provided in the payment notification you received via email or text message.
    2. Select Old National.
    3. Follow the instructions provided on the page to enroll and receive your payment. Pay attention to the email address or U.S. mobile number where you received the payment notification — you should enroll with Zelle® using that email address or U.S. mobile number where you received the notification to ensure you receive your money.

  4. What is an NSF fee, and why did I receive one?

    If there is not enough of an available balance in your account to cover a withdrawal or payment presented against your account, an overdraft will occur and fees may be assessed. These are called NSF fees or overdraft fees. You may also hear the term "insufficient funds" used.

    An NSF fee is charged when a checking account is overdrawn causing a negative balance at the end of the previous business day. NSF fees are always charged the day after the overdraft occurs. You can avoid NSF fees by making a deposit to bring your account to a positive balance by the end of the business day.

  5. How do I sign up for Card Controls and Alerts?

    Card Controls and Alerts are a feature of Online Banking and the Mobile App. You can activate Card Controls within Online Banking and the Mobile App; there is no need for any separate enrollment or downloading of any additional apps.

    Card Controls enable you to manage and monitor debit card activity, such as setting and receiving alerts or suspending certain transactions.

  6. Is Old National participating in the Main Street Lending Program?
    Yes, Old National is an eligible lender for the Main Street Lending Program. If you are considering applying for a Main Street Loan, please contact your Old National Relationship Manager or mainstreetlendingprogram@oldnational.com.   7. What are "cookies" and how do they affect my Digital Banking?

    A "cookie" is a small text file created by a website that you visit, and it is then stored in your computer or phone browser, either temporarily for a single session only or permanently (until deleted). Cookies provide a way for the website to recognize you and keep track of your preferences.

    Cookies (or lack of them) can impact your use of Digital Banking in several different ways including the following:

    • If your browser is set to not accept cookies, or you clear your cookies, your device will no longer be recognized by your Digital Banking. In this case, you may be required to verify your identity by receiving a one-time passcode to the phone number or email address registered in your Digital Banking.
    • In some cases, a cookie in your browser can pull up an old page on a website and prevent you from seeing an updated one. In this case you would need to clear cookies in your browser settings to see the new page.

    Instructions for clearing or accepting cookies varies by device and browser. If you need assistance with either, please contact Client Care at 1-800-731-2265, and we would be happy to assist you.

  8. How do I activate my new debit card?

    Call 1-800-992-3808 and follow the prompts for activating your card and establishing a personal identification number (PIN).

  9. Do I have to be enrolled in Digital Banking to use Card Controls and Alerts?

    Yes. You must be logged into Online Banking or the Mobile App to set up and use Card Controls.

  10. I’m unsure about using Zelle® to pay someone I don’t know. What should I do?

    If you don't know the person, or aren't sure you will get what you paid for (for example, items bought from an online bidding or sales site), you should not use Zelle® for these types of transactions.

    These transactions are potentially high risk (just like sending cash to a person you don't know is high risk). Neither Old National nor Zelle® offers a protection program for any authorized payments made with Zelle® — for example, if you do not receive the item you paid for or the item is not as described or as you expected.
